Abstract
This article reviews Literature published in 1997 related to career counsel ing and career development. The authors' review revealed that researchers a nd practitioners continue to productively contribute to a dynamic understan ding of career-related issues. The literature was organized into 4 sections : career development throughout the life span, cultural and contextual fact ors, issues related to assessment, and theoretical advances.
