Abstract
The H-D isotopic exchange between H-2 and D-2 and between H2S and D-2 was c arried out at 80 degrees C in a recycling reactor over a series of presulfi ded Mo/Al2O3 catalysts containing different amounts of nickel. Whatever the pretreatment procedure, it was found that the promoter had no significant effect on the rate of H-D exchange or on the amount of exchangeable hydroge n present on the catalysts.
