Abstract
We experimentally investigate the dynamical behavior of a semiconductor las er with frequency selective optical feedback. We show the existence of bist ability between two stable outputs. We analyze experimentally the necessary conditions for bistable behavior. We investigate the appearance of fluctua tions at low frequency showing that this involves multimode dynamics.
