Abstract
A simple methodology to determine the extent of workable regions of disturb ance variables, i.e., feed temperature, inlet flow rate, and feed concentra tion, for a certain chemical reactor with a SISO feedback linearizing contr oller under constraints on control input is presented. In these relatively wide regions, the feedback linearizing controller is able to stabilize reac tor temperature at a set point with good performance despite constraints on the coolant temperature.
