Abstract
In this study the mechanism of luminescence of aqueous solution surfactants has been considered. It is shown that at the point of micellization the in tensity of luminescence non-linearity depends on aggregate size. Experiment al results on the action of laser light on aqueous solutions of sodium octy lbenzene sulphonate confirm that in the process of photoionization active p arts are taken by not only donor electrons solubilized in micelles but also electrons of surfactant molecules.
