This paper deals with a modifying factor of the convection coefficient obta
ined thanks to the Monte-Carlo method. The aim of this modification is to t
ake into account the thickness of the resin which band a thin coil immersed
in liquid helium. This allows to reduce the 3-D thermal study to a 2-D pro
blem because the diffusion in the resin is taken into account thanks to the
modifying factor. To calculate this factor, we consider the variation with
temperature and the anisotropy of the thermal conductivity and the specifi
