Km. Singh et M. Tanaka, Dual reciprocity boundary element analysis of nonlinear diffusion: temporal discretization, ENG ANAL, 23(5-6), 1999, pp. 419-433
This article presents an application of higher order time integration schem
es in the dual reciprocity boundary element analysis of nonlinear transient
diffusion problems involving nonlinear boundary conditions as well as temp
erature-dependent material properties. Multistep theta-methods, cubic Hermi
tian schemes and one-step least squares method have been considered. An err
or estimate based on the conservation of thermal energy has been presented
to assess the accuracy of the numerical solutions. Numerical results are pr
esented for a set of representative test problems to demonstrate the useful
ness of the presented time integration algorithms. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scienc
