The neuropsychiatric symptoms associated with vascular dementia (VaD) vary
widely, from mild cognitive impairment to severe dementia. They depend not
only on the location of ischaemic damage but also on the pathogenic process
involved. This paper discusses the rich and complex picture presented by V
