Abstract
Retgersite, NiSO4.6H2O, from Jachymov, Krusne hory Mts., Czech Republi c was identified by optical properties and X-ray powder diffraction da ta. Chemical composition corresponds closely to the stoichiometric for mula. The IR absorption data and thermal curves are given. Retgersite from Jachymov is interpreted to be product of oxidation of gersdorffit e.
