Abstract
Characteristics of nonlinear stationary waves in straight flow over pl ane bottom are studied experimentally for wide range of flow parameter s. The process of scouring under influence of stationary waves is inve stigated. Threshold values for flow characteristics are determined abo ve which this process is initialized for fixed Frude number.
