Abstract
The plasmachemical technology of iron-carbon adsorbent production was devel oped and optimized. The adsorbent was thoroughly studied by physical, chemi cal and biological methods, and was found to have high sorption capacity, l ong desorption time, high magnetization and low toxicity. The adsorbent is intended to be used for magnetically guided transport and forming a depot o f anti-cancer drugs in the tumor zone. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All r ights reserved.
