Abstract
Field-flow fractionation (FFF) and split-flow thin cell fractionation (SPLI TT fractionation) provide high resolution size- or mass-based separation of particulate samples. FFF is an analytical technique, whereas SPLITT fracti onation operates on a preparative scale. In this work, the FFF and SPLITT t echnologies were applied to the size analysis and separation of magnetic be ads. The optimization of operating conditions was investigated.
