Abstract
We have developed 'magnetite cationic liposomes' (MCLs) as a new heating me diator for hyperthermia. The hyperthermic effect on solid glioma tissue gro wn subcutaneously in F344 rats was investigated. Complete tumor regression was observed in about 90% of the rats by three times of repeated heating. F urthermore, induction of antitumor immunity for T-9 rat glioma using MCLs w as investigated. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
