The connection between the soliton solutions for potentials in I + I dimens
ions and supersymmetry in the context of non-relativistic quantum mechanics
is explored. Examining the equivalence between a supersymmetric partner an
d the stability equation of the phi(6) model, which is a Schrodinger-like e
quation for the normal modes, we construct two new supersymmetric partners,
which lends us to a new class of isospectral potentials in quantum mechani
cs and a. new class of potential nonlinear models in bidimensional spacetim
e. We show that such new potentials in I + I dimensions are double-well lik
e potentials.
