Abstract
An unusual manifestation of cutaneous or visceral hemangiosarcoma in 8 cats was associated with locally aggressive and highly metastatic tumor behavio r and short survival time, regardless of therapeutic approach. Disseminated intravascular coagulation and anemia associated with blood los s are likely hematologic findings in cats with visceral hemangiosarcoma.
