Abstract
In this note, asymptotic stability of linear neutral delay-differential sys tems is investigated. A delay-independent sufficient condition for the stab ility of the system is derived in terms of the spectral radius. The propose d criterion requires more relaxed assumption than those reported in the lit erature. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated in numerical exampl es.
