I. Shoji et al., Absolute measurement of second-order nonlinear-optical coefficients of beta-BaB2O4 for visible to ultraviolet second-harmonic wavelengths, J OPT SOC B, 16(4), 1999, pp. 620-624
The second-order nonlinear-optical coefficients of beta-BaB2O4 have been ab
solutely determined for visible to ultraviolet second-harmonic wavelengths:
The fundamental wavelengths used were 0.532, 0.852, 1.064, and 1.313 mu m.
The following values were obtained by use of the wedge technique: d(22) =
2.6 pm/V at 0.532 mu m; d(22) = 2.3 pm/V at 0.852 mu m; d(22) = 2.2 pm/V, d
(33) = 0.04 pm/V, d(31) = 0.04 pm/V, and d(15) = 0.03pm/V at 1.064 mu m; an
d d(22) = 1.9 pm/V at 1.313 mu m. (C) 1999 Optical Society of America [S074
