A new technique for minimally-invasive, lumboendoscopic anterior fusion ofthe lumbar spine

With the use of an experimental porcine model, we demonstrate the feasibili ty of anterior lumbar spine fusion via a minimally-invasive, lumboendoscopi c approach. Our study further demonstrates that the procedure can be perfor med without complications in an acceptable operation time when compared wit h that of open surgery.
