Abstract
Floristic contributions for the following areas in Portugal; Tras-os-Montes , Serra da Estrela, Estremadura and Alentejo are given. An annotated list o f the most interesting species of lichens and lichenicolous fungi of the fo ur main areas is provided. 41 species are regarded as new to Portugal and 2 83 species from the four main areas are listed.
