We present a study of magnetic and magneto-optical properties of CdxTe1-x-M
nTe superlattices up to the room temperature. A comparison of low-temperatu
re exciton Zeeman effect and the measurements of the magnetization performe
d by superconducting quantum interface device magnetometer shows a perfect
agreement with a model description, thus allowing for determination of Mn c
ontent profiles width throughout the structures. Precise high-temperature Z
eeman effect measurements show that the exciton splitting decreases with te
mperature faster than expected on the basis of the Curie-Weiss law. We attr
ibute this effect to the influence of thermal fluctuations on exciton state
