Abstract
Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, we probe the electronic ba nd structure of TaTe4 single crystal samples. Resistivity and optical measu rements were also performed on the same samples. The experimental data indi cate a combination of quasi-one-dimensional and three-dimensional electroni c properties. We observe a finite spectral intensity, but no dispersing qua siparticle states near the chemical potential. [S0163-1829(99)06611-4].
