Abstract
The ambiguity problem is discussed for the partial-wave analysis of the rea ction pi(-)p --> eta pi(0)n with allowance for the \mu\ less than or equal to 1 waves. It has been shown that eight nontrivial solutions exist when th e S, P, and D waves are taken into account. The procedure for reconstructin g all solutions on the basis of one known solution has been considered.
