Abstract
A new genus and species (Squamigera latebricola) of the subfamily Cubacuban inae from a Mexican cave is described. The new genus is distinguished from almost all the genera of this subfamily by having scales. It differs from T exoreddellia, the only other genus of this subfamily with scales, by the mo rphology of scales and other characters, which are discussed.
