Abstract
Facile Nafion-H catalyzed isomerization of glycidic esters to alpha-hydroxy -beta,gamma-unsaturated esters is reported. These compounds are useful synt hetic intermediates. Application in the synthesis of a trifluoromethylated vinylic epoxide is demonstrated.
