Abstract
It has been established that the concentration dependence of the temperatur e T-m of maximum permittivity epsilon corresponding to the ferroelectric ph ase transition in crystals of Pb1-xBaxSc0.5Nb0.5O3 solid solutions does not saturate in the range 0<x<0.6, unlike in the ceramic. However, the broaden ing of the maximum of epsilon is similar in both crystals and ceramics. The frequency dependence of T-m is described by the Vogel-Fulcher law, which c an relate the strong broadening of the phase transition in solid solutions to the appearance of properties typical of dipole glasses.
