Abstract
In connection with the synthesis and epoxidation of campholenic and fenchol enic derivatives some trimethylammonium iodides (2 and 4) similar to muscar in were prepared. They may be of interest for the investigation of the chol inergic receptor. The stereochemistry of the epoxytrimethylammonium iodide 4a was determined by NR-LR and X-ray analysis.
