A REPLY TO SHERMAN,HOWARD

In the Spring 1998 (56(1): 47-58) issue of this journal, Howard Sherma n criticized the alleged methodological individualism and critique of Marxism by Geoffrey Hodgson. This reply denies that Hodgson is a metho dological individualist and defends his Veblenian criticism of Marx. I t is also contended that Marx was not a Darwinian and did not incorpor ate essential Darwinian ideas in his thinking.
