Ch. Song et al., ATNICOMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITY OF ENDOPOLYMERS PRODUCED FROM SUBMERGED MYCELIAL CULTURE OF HIGHER FUNGI WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO LENTINUS-EDODES, Biotechnology letters, 20(8), 1998, pp. 741-744
The anti-complementary activity (immuno-stimulating activity) was test
ed for the endo-polymer (intra-cellular polymer) produced from submerg
ed mycelial cultures of 21 types of higher fungi. Anti-complementary a
ctivity of endo-polymer from Lentinus edodes showed the highest (85%)
followed by Flammulina velutipes (77%) and Phellinus linteus (71%).
