Abstract
Uniqueness of positive solutions of the following equation: -div (\del u\(n-2)del u)=lambda u(n-1)e(u) in B, u > 0 in B, u = 0 on partial de rivative B has been obtained, where B subset of R-n is the ball of uni t radius and lambda > 0. Moreover, if n = 2, then the solutions are no ndegenerate.
