Abstract
The formation of oligomers of 1-methylpyrrole and 1-phenylpyrrole has been initiated by a heterogeneous electron transfer (HET) step at the interface of two immiscible electrolyte solutions; the HET leads to th e formation of a radical cation of the monomer in the organic phase.
