Abstract
An exciting glimpse into the future when antibodies can be programmed to have their Fv or Fab components crystallize upon release from the p arental molecules is given here by Alien B. Edmundson and colleagues. Targeted crystal packing surfaces remote from active sites can be mani pulated without affecting the antigen-binding functions of the antibod ies.
