Abstract
This paper presents the design of a compact particulate dilution tunne l used for characterizing diesel exhaust. Details of particulate mass concentration calculations based on various methods and the estimation s of tunnel flow temperature and relative humidity due to psychrometri c mixing between the extracted exhaust gas and diluting air are also e laborated.
