Abstract
3'O-silylated derivatives of 5'-O-DMT-2'deoxynucleoside (2) were synth esized in high yield by reaction of 5'-O-DMT-2'-deoxynucleosides (1) w ith tert-butyl dimethylsilylchloride using sodium hydride, benzyltriet hylammonium chloride [TEBA] and a catalytic amount of dibenzo-[18]-cro wn-6 [DB-18-C-6] or 15-crown-5 [15-C-5] under mild reaction conditions .
