M. Vrethem et al., INTRACEREBRAL MALIGNANT-LYMPHOMA IN A PATIENT WITH LONG-STANDING MULTIPLE-SCLEROSIS, European journal of neurology, 5(5), 1998, pp. 507-510
We present a patient with long-standing MS who developed a malignant i
ntracerebral lymphoma, suspected on MRI and verified by brain biopsy.
This raises the interesting question about whether the coexistence of
the two conditions is explained by cause or is just coincidental. Our
case report also illustrates that other pathological conditions may de
velop in MS patients and demand attention in the individual patient. (
