Abstract
1-Bis(trimethylsilyl)aminogermatrane (3), the first germatrane bearing
an amino group at the germanium atom, was synthesized by the reaction
of 1-hydroxygermatrane with bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)amino)]stannylene
(1). 3 has been characterised by H-1,C-13, Si-29 NMR spectroscopy, ele
mental analysis, and by X-ray diffractometry.
