Abstract
Mixed-ligand complexes of Zr4+ and La3+ with thenoyltrifluoroacetone ( HTTA) and aliphatic amines (A) (diethylamine and (n) under bar-butylam ine) have been prepared and characterized in the solid state. Microana lytical data of the investigated complexes correspond to the general f ormula M(TTA)(n-m) (H2O)(m)(A)(x) where M refers to the metal ion, n, m, and x are the numbers of the coordinated TTA(-), H2O and A molecule s, respectively. The solid complexes have been characterized using con ventional chemical and physical methods of analysis.
