Abstract
Nine new triterpenes were isolated from Maytenus amazonica. Their stru ctures were determined by means of H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopic stud ies, including H-1-C-13 heteronuclear correlation (HETCOR), and long r ange correlation with inverse detection (HMBC).
