GRADIENT BAROCHROMATOGRAPHY

The influence of imperfection of mobile gas phase (connected with its nature and pressure) on retention and widening of chromatographic band s and also corresponding possibilities of govern the column selectivit y as well as the resolution of solutes have been considered. The espec ial attention is paid to the role of pressure and gas velocity gradien ts including its spasmodic change in the case of coupled columns. The possibilities of gradient barochromatography are pointed out for ident ification of components of mixtures and also for working out the metho ds of control of composition of various objects.
