Abstract
Novel tri-substituted 1,2,4-triazoles are synthesized via complementar y, regiospecific routes as part of a lead finding exercise. A key feat ure of one of the syntheses is recognition of an intrinsic regioselect ivity toward deprotonation in the 1-phenylguanazole substrate. (C) 199 8 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
