Abstract
We report an unusual case of malocclusion following a history of appar ently blunt trauma. No maxillary or mandibular fractures were identifi ed. The malocclusion persisted for several days. Finally computed tomo graphy was performed, which revealed a foreign body in the infratempor al fossa. A 4-cm pencil was extracted from the patient's right temporo mandibular joint.
