Abstract
Three new polyhydroxylated triterpenes were isolated from the chlorofo rm-methanol extract of the leaves of Senecio pseudotites. Their struct ures were elucidated as 2 alpha,3 beta,23-trihydroxy-urs-12,19(29)-die n-28-oic-acid; 2 alpha,3 rihydroxy-urs-12,19(29)-dien-28-oic-acid-23-a cetyl ester; 23-(trans-p-coumaroyloxy)-2 alpha,3 beta-dihydroxy-urs-12 ,19(29)-dien-28-oic-acid by NMR spectroscopy.
