Abstract
A set of chromosomes in Siberian roe deer includes 5-7 B-chromosomes: 2n = 70 + (5-7). Morphometric parameters of the Yakutian roe deer popu lation are more similar to the Tien Shanian subspecies, Capreolus pyra rgus tianschanicus. Yakutia seems to be an area where the two subspeci es ranges overlap.
