Abstract
In an investigation of the resistivity anisotropy of YBa2Cu3O7-x singl e crystals with suboptimal oxygen content it is observed that the supe rconducting transition for the component rho(c) of the resistivity ten sor is shifted to lower temperatures with respect to the transition fo r the component rho(ab). A similar shift is also observed for the tran sition in the temperature dependence of the dynamic magnetic susceptib ility. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. [S0021-3640(98)01216-X] .
