ADDITIONS TO BAT FAUNA OF MACEDONIA (CHIROPTERA, MAMMALIA)

The first occurrence of Natterer's bat Myotis nattereri in Macedonia i s reported, and new distributional records are presented for whiskered bat Myotis mystacinus, Nathusius's pipistrelle Pipistrellus nathusii, Kuhl's pipistrelle P. kuhlii, Savi's pipistrelle P. savii, and Europe an freetailed bat Tadarida teniotis. A review of all available records of P. kuhlii in Macedonia and adjacent regions does not permit any co nclusion to be made with regard to the recent range expansion of the s pecies in this part of the Balkans.
