PREGNANCY EXAMINATION IN THE DOG AND CAT

In the present study the possibilities of the pregnancy diagnosis are described, their advantages and disadvantages are discussed and the ti me for their optimal use is mentioned. Because the sonographic examina tion is able to give most informations about the pregnancy progress th ere are especially the sonographic findings and their differential dia gnoses described. The biggest advantage of the sonography is the evalu ation of fetal viability in addition to the pure pregnancy diagnosis.
