Abstract
Congenital eye diseases frequently occur in small animals. Based on a presentation with the same title held in Hannover, November 8th 1997, the present article provides a list of the most common congenital ocul ar diseases in small animals. A description of the diseases, the most important breed predispositions and possible therapeutic approaches ar e provided.
