Abstract
Superdeformed rotational bands in Hg191-192-193-194 analyzed by means of the U-qp(u(2)) model. An overall and excellent agreement between th e calculated and observed spectra E-gamma, kinematic moment of inertia J((1)) and dynamic moment of inertia J((2)), the aligned angular mome ntum (i = omega (J((1))(Hg191-193-194) - J((1))(Hg-192))) is obtained. Further more, the nuclear softness in Hg191-192-193-194 are calculate d by means of the U-qp (u(2)) model and drawn into the nuclear configu ration analysis.
