Abstract
Multiple Bragg diffraction effects have been observed in an Al-Cu-Fe q uasicrystal. The experimental data are analyzed by means of a multibea m perturbation theory. Good fits are obtained between experimental and calculated profiles. The feasibility for phase determination of struc ture factors is demonstrated. It is found that there is no inversion s ymmetry in Al-Cu Fe.
