Abstract
We investigate the problem of fusing collections of documents provided
by multiple information retrieval systems. A parameterized approach i
s suggested in which a parameter determines how the documents in the i
ndividual collections are interleaved to form a fused list of document
s. We then suggest a mechanism for learning this parameter.
