Ds. Fisher et Ap. Young, DISTRIBUTIONS OF GAPS AND END-TO-END CORRELATIONS IN RANDOM TRANSVERSE-FIELD ISING SPIN CHAINS, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 58(14), 1998, pp. 9131-9141
A previously introduced real-space renormalization-group treatment of
the random transverse-held Ising spin chain is extended to provide det
ailed information on the distribution of the energy gap and the end-to
-end correlation function for long chains with free boundary condition
s. Numerical data, using the mapping of the problem to free fermions,
are found to be in good agreement with the analytic finite-size scalin
g predictions. [S0163-1829(98)02737-4].
